How it works
We start with a Zoom consult to discuss your dog’s behavior history and your top concerns and priorities. I’ll give you training tips to implement right away and sketch out a “calm & safe with kids” game plan.
Then we’ll do 3 hands-on training sessions. You’ll learn to read your dog’s anxious body language so you can intervene early. Your dog’s “calm & safe with kids” game plan will be a mix of my favorite boundary-setting and bond-building approaches, including…
- Desensitization & counterconditioning to your dog’s kid-related stressors.
- Enrichment activities to keep your dog busy and happy when you need dog-free time with your kids
- Life skills, like coming when called and leaving things alone.
- Games your kids can play with your dog (under careful supervision) to build trust.
